This September, we will be entering our new Fall Season for our 49th year! Come and join us with all new classes and workshops! There are private lessons, keiki classes (kids), and group lessons in Vancouver and Surrey.

We also have our Studio Sunday workshops on the last Sunday of every month. Plus, save the date for our Holiday show on Sunday, December 15!

Join us for the 29th Annual Festival Polynesia 2019! An all Polynesian dance workshop, competition, and ho’ike!

Ever wanted to watch a Polynesian dance competition or participate in a hula workshop? Now’s your chance! Come join us celebrate the year end evaluation with a workshop, competition, and ho’ike for our guests and judges on Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Kerrisdale Community Centre (5851 West Blvd (aka South Arbutus St.) Vancouver, B.C).

A one day only competition with prizes and certificates to be awarded. for different categories, skills, and abilities. Learn about Polynesian culture, dance, music, costumes, technique, and more from the judges. There will be three judges this year: Auntie Gloria Napualani Kalamalamakailialoha Fujii Nahale, who has over 40 years of teaching, performing, and choreographing the Pacific Dance Arts locally and internationally. She is also hosting and teaching the Hula Auana workshop in the morning – you don’t want to miss out on this opportunity!

The second judge is Jill Tiare Oudil from Ka’anapali Maui, a professional dancer from the Tamure Tahiti revue and is one of our annual Festival Polynesia judges. And Allison Paul as the special guest judge! She was a dance performer for Susan’s Paradise of Polynesia & Na Leo Kani ‘O Hawai’i, and Tavai’s Polynesia! She also has handmade Hawaiian culture crafts that you might be able to get your hands on this day.

Tickets Available for Low Entropy Lu’au Fundraiser – Saturday, May 4

Come join us on the evening of Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Port Moody Recreation Centre for a lu’au fundraiser, hosted by Low Entropy!

Low Entropy has a Youth Empowering Youth (YEY) program to help bring awareness to mental health and remove the stigma associated with it. The YEY program also promotes confidence and compassion.

The lu’au will have a full dinner buffet with traditional Polynesian food and mini shows performed by us, the Paul Tavai-Latta Polynesian Dancers & Co. throughout the night.

Happy New Year everyone! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones. We also ate some good food with good company and we are ready to achieve our 2019 goals.
