WELCOME TO PRIVATE LESSONS!

"Hula Halau" Ma'e Ma'e Kapua O Kahala" Special Request / Drop In Private Lessons for non-registered students are $25 per 1/2 hour or $50.00 per hour (includes full choreography, facts and informational material, music, costuming and staging suggestions and previous adjudication comments where possible for past performed routines). All private lessons are conducted at the Private Studio - Guildford, Surrey, and are conducted on availability basis.

REGISTERED STUDENTS / PRIVATE LESSONS

All registered students taking Private or Semi-Private classes should be aware of the many important benefits which private lessons provide.

Private lessons serve 2 purposes:

Jerrica Santos - Maui1. To have undivided attention, private one-on-one special help for dance technique, specific questions & answers to problems that can't be covered in group class, etc. The first part of every private lesson is reserved for 'special help' with basic, fundamentals & routines learned during group classes. This is a "one-on-one" time that is used to review & clarify any aspect of a group lesson that the student did not grasp.

2. To learn a custom-designed & choreographed "solo" routine for shows & competition, knowing the routine must pass strictest standards before going forth. Learning a solo does not automatically mean you will perform it & definitely does not mean you will automatically compete it. Each step must be deserved & earned. The review of group dances will take priority over solo routines.

All private lessons for registered students are $15.00 per 1/2 hour.

Non-Registered Special Request Drop-in Private Lessons are $25.00 for 1/2 hour.

Private lessons must be paid in full, in advance & the fees are non-refundable.

Have a 60-minute cassette (30 minutes for Lesson #1, 30 minutes for lesson #2, etc.). Bring a video camera if you have one, with a new tape.

There are no credits or refunds on Private Lessons.
